Margaret Truman Daniel (1924-2008) was born in Independence, Missouri. She is the daughter of President Harry S. and Elizabeth Virginia (Bess) Truman. She married E. Abbie Rowe was a photographer for the National Park Service in Washington D.C., and had unprecedented access to the official activities of five Presidents from 1941 through 1967.
